MUSEUM EXHIBITION • WALTON ARTS CENTER • January 2005

A major retrospective of Michael McWillie's work titled "The Seen and the Unseen" will open at the WALTON ARTS CENTER in Fayetteville, Arkansas on 1/24/2005. The exhibition is curated by Michele McGuire andwill feature work from all phases of Michael's career, as well as the original painting Michael painted for the American Humane Adopt-A-Dog month campaign, along with eleven sketches Michael drew in exploring ideas for the painting. Also, the second and until now unseen painting that Michael started for The White House will be shown to the public for the first time. Michael actually started two paintings on the evening of 9/11 for The White House. One is in The White House and this one remains in Michael's private collection.The exhibition runs from 1/24/2005 - 3/19/2005 For information call 479-443-5600.

New work by Michael McWillie will be featured in a solo exhibition titled "The Dog and Pony Show." Paintings and Prints will be featured.
